This week's Fashion Friday's features students who were particularly fashionable for this upcoming winter season. Below are some of those students who showcased some of their best, warm outfits!

Zach's look is cool and simple. His maroon Vans and black pants make his red shirt stand out. The floral pocket design adds a hip and unique twist on the overall outfit.

Erika's look is also simple, but still fashionable. Her brown riding boots with the red, over the knee socks are a perfect match to her crimson, knit sweater. Her outfit is perfect for a cold day!

Destiny's outfit is very fashion-forward. Her fur-lined, army green parka is the focal point of the outfit. Although, her nude top with the gold, layered necklace and brown riding boots make the outfit complete.

Usually during the fall/winter season, people wear clothes that are dark in color. However, Joi's outfit adds an unexpected pop of color. Her bright, green jeans bring out the tones in her multi-colored paisley scarf. The denim shirt was a perfect choice to help prevent the outfit from being to busy along with her tall combat boots.

Myleeka's is similar to Joi's. Yet, she decided to go with an all denim look with her choice of a light denim jacket and jeans. Her purple paisley top adds a girly touch to her outfit. While, her copper colored combat boots add an edgy feel to the overall outfit.

As the temperature outside starts to decrease, the style of ChattCo student's is starting to increase! With the help of sweaters, boots, and scarfs students are starting to bundle up in their most fashionable ways. Below are just a few examples of students showing off some of their most stylish, cold weather outfits.

 

Bre's pastel colored outfit is very girly. Her pale pink jeans complement her light denim shirt perfectly. The white sweater overlay adds a preppy look to Bre's overall outfit.  

Katelynn's outfit will definitely keep anyone warm for the current cold weather. The mixed gray and black sweater is simple, yet still stands out. Her black combat boots add a stylish touch to her outfit.

 

Kelsey's outfit is a great example of how you can put together an outfit using just gray and black tones. Her black, fringe scarf and wedges make the black in her chevron print dress stand out nicely. Also, her acid wash, denim shirt adds a bit of an edgy touch to the entire look.

Brianna's outfit stands out without being overly flashy. She makes her red, scarf print top pop perfectly by adding just a simple pair of blue jeans and tan combat boots. With just these 3 pieces, she made it a complete outfit!

 

JT's look is great for any guy looking to dress especially formal. His dark, navy blue sports coat obviously pairs well with his khaki pants and brown dress shoes. Overall, this outfit is a classic!

Fashion Fridays

Many students here at ChattCo have a great fashion sense! Not only do they follow the trends, but they also create their own. This weeks picks for "Fashion Fridays" includes just a few of those students who are singularly stylish.  

 

 

Brianna's outfit is well put together. Her burgundy shirt and bird print infinity scarf pair perfectly  with her distressed light denim. Her black riding boots are especially fashionable with the chevron cutouts.

Hope's look is particularly girly with a lot of red tones. Her pink paisley top is a perfect complement to her maroon jeans. Her quilted combat boots also add a nice touch and make the outfit look complete.

Joi's outfit is very chic. Her gold-chained leopard booties make up the focal point of this outfit. However, her red jeans, black button down, and gray jacket all contrast nicely together.

Micheal's outfit is pretty fashion-forward. The floral print stands out against the midnight black of his cutting-edge pullover.

 

Katelynn's outfit has a light, bohemian feel to it. Her sheer crochet top is simple, yet still feminine. Her tan riding boots were a perfect choice for this outfit!

Here is yet another week showing off ChattCo's most stylish students. If you would like to be featured every other week on the blog, find a yearbook photographer during lunch to take your picture!

 Peyton's outfit is very cozy and is sure to keep anyone warm as the temperature drops. Her light denim pairs nicely with the large, chunky scarf and over-sized black cardigan. The distressed combat boots also add a nice touch.

Madison's preppy outfit is simple, but still fashionable. Her warm toned riding boots accentuate the large, plaid scarf. Her over-sized denim shirt is a classic, and perfect for anyone's fall closet.

Ardaiju's & Tyree's outfits are both simple with stylish touches. Ardaiju's look is accented by her 70's style flare pants, which is a huge trend for fall. The loud, black and white pattern is the focal point of the outfit. On the other hand, Tyree's outfit is a staple. The floral sandals go nicely with her mint sweater and dark jeans.

Olivia's outfit is great for anyone looking to add a bright touch to their closet. Her loud patterned dress matches well with her light denim jacket. Her shoes have a bohemian feel to them and go well with her dress.

Joe's sleek look is perfect for any guy looking to dress up without being overly formal. His silver collared shirt and dark cardigan are a perfect match to his two-toned, oxford style shoes. His watch especially adds a stylish touch.

Last-Minute Halloween Costume

This is high school, and every year, you tell yourself, “Next year, I’ll get it together.” And here it is, 2015, and you still don’t have a costume.

This tutorial on how to make fake blood shall accompany a list of simple, last minute costumes.

THE EASIEST: SELF EXPLANATORY

This one is water based- so can easily be put in a spray bottle or water bottle.
Just take a bowl and mix:

• ¼ cup of water
• 4 drops red food coloring

Remember, food coloring stains! Don’t put it on any clothes you want to keep.

ALSO FAIRLY SIMPLE: MORE REALISTIC

In your bowl, mix:

• 1 TSP cocoa mix
• 2 TBSP corn syrup

MIX THESE UNTIL THERE ARE NO LUMPS
AFTER MIXTURE IS SMOOTH, ADD:

• 4 drops red food coloring

This mixture is kind of sticky; be careful not to get it on any important accessories.

THE FINAL: MOST REALISTIC

Mix into your bowl:

• ¼ cup of water
• 4 TBSP corn syriup

AFTER THE MIXTURE IS CONSISTENT, ADD:

• 8 drops red food coloring
• 2 drops yellow food coloring 
• 1 drop green food coloring

The different colors combine to make a dark, realistic colors.
This blood, however, will look a bit “older” on clothing.

MONTHLY TRENDS

A segment showcasing your fellow classmates incorporating this month’s hottest trends.

The beginning of fall has many of students bringing out their stripes!
Although Georgia isn't cold enough for sweaters and scarfs, the stripes have taken over fall so far.

Tiffany wears a basic black and white striped shirt with some light washed jeans and white converse. 

This basic outfit is a staple for all high school students.

     Stripes, stripes, and more stripes!

Kaliyah wears a black and white striped t-shirt dress with a jean jacket and white converse.
Ceferina is wearing a striped shirt with a red buffalo check flannel tied around her waist with black huraches.
Morgan is wearing a baseball inspired vertical stripe shirt with jeans and black vans.

Justin's outfit is a typical striped Ralph Lauren polo shirt with cargo pants and Jordan 14's.
This outfit is the go to look for many boys at Chattco, making this combination a big staple of Chattco as a whole.

 Here are some of ChattCo's most stylish students this week for Fashion Fridays!

Joi's look is well put together and perfect for fall. The white lace tank and denim jacket pair nicely with her maroon colored jeans. The studded oxfords are unique and add an edgy touch.

Bre's outfit is accented by her stylish military jacket. The warm toned floral shirt and bow flats add a girly touch, but the distressed jeans tie an edgy look into it.

Shailyn's look is very casual and sporty with her plain white tee and shoes. However, the dark floral infinity print scarf adds a girly touch and makes the outfit stand out.  

Zenobia's outfit especially stands out with her soft neutral printed pants. The denim jacket makes it perfect for fall! Her gold bracelet and watch add a chic touch to the outfit.

Tre's collared navy blue shirt seems simple at first, but with a closer look a skull detail is revealed. His shirt makes a great transition from summer to fall, and is perfect for anyone looking to add an edge to their outfit.
